She watched him. She wasn't going to just let someone who grew fangs and bit people take a gander at her neck without watching him. But even so, if something happened and she couldn't stop it, as long as he didn't kill her first she was fairly sure he'd be in for a surprise.

And if he did, well. Then she'd know that the TV show hadn't gotten everything right.
