Sarcasm was easier for Rogue to deal with than gratitude anyway. She had a crack about the relative benefits of finding him suitable pants on the tip of her tongue, but swallowed it back. After her recent experience with Marcus, she wasn't sure how much of the sassy side of her she actually wanted to let out. Sarcasm was so much more comfortable.

"You forgot walkin' grannies across the street. It's all part an' parcel of the whole spandex gig."

She fell into step behind him, but paused at the door. "So are we at the 'give directions' part of our evenin', or do ya still need a guided tour?"
